The Airey Fairey Issue 14 cover (above) is comprised of images taken, by various FAAA members, during the 'Trafalgar 200' and other commemorations in the summer of 2005.
The front cover, main picture, is of Angus Branch Secretary Des Mardle in front of Buckingham Palace on the occasion of the End of World War Two Commemoration Day, Sunday 10th July. The inset is from FAAA Chairman Fred Wadley taken at the Inauguration of the Malta Siege Memorial with the FAAA Standard (Centre) carried on this occasion by Don Armstrong-Rich of Eastbourne Branch FAAA.
The rear cover top is from FAAA Treasurer Ben Worship and taken at the International Drumhead Ceremony as is the crop (centre, left) of the FAAA Standard Bearer Alan Mathews. The adjacent image of HMS Illustrious sailing past behind the Southsea Memorial during the International Drumhead Ceremony (Minolta Xi) is by The Editor as is the inset of the actors Alex Naylor and Finni Golden playing the parts of Horatio Nelson and Lady Hamilton during the International Festival of the Sea (Konica/Minolta Dynax 7D). The other inset is of the Malta Siege memorial, again from Fred Wadley. The lower picture is of the FAAA stand inside the veteran's enclosure on Southsea Common for the two days of 27th and 28th June, the latter being the day of the International Drumhead Ceremony, picture by The Editor (Konica/Minolta Dynax 7D).
