The Airey Fairey Issue 9 cover (above) was based upon images relating to the ceremony on the occasion of the laying up of the old Fleet Air Arm Association Standard and the dedication of the new in September 2002. This took place at RNAS Yeovilton (HMS Heron) and St. Bartholemew's Church, Yeovilton village.

The inset on the front cover depicts Sir Raymond Lygo taking the salute at the march past of Fleet Air Arm Association and Branch Standard bearers and of the members platoons.
